Fast pages that search engines can read
We build on Next.js because it renders pages on the server, so they arrive as HTML that loads quickly on a mid-range Android phone and that Google can index. For any public-facing part of your application, that choice often determines whether it ranks at all.
We deal with Core Web Vitals while the code is being written, since that's when they cost least to fix. Image and font loading, bundle size and layout stability are all harder to change once the application is live.
Security, accessibility and compliance
Every application we build includes authentication, role-based access and audit trails, and it's built to WCAG accessibility standards and UK GDPR. None of this looks impressive in a demo, but it decides whether the system holds up once real users arrive.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a website and a web application?
A website mainly presents information, and every visitor sees the same pages. Once users need their own accounts, or the system has to remember what they did last time and act on it, you're building a web application.
Why do you build with Next.js?
Next.js lets us render public pages on the server and still give logged-in users the interactivity of a React application, all within one framework. Because it's so widely used, your own developers or another supplier will be able to pick up the code later.
Can you take on an existing application?
We do, and regularly. The first step is an audit of code quality, dependencies, security and hosting costs. Our recommendation to improve or replace the application comes with the case against it, so you can weigh up both options.
Do you handle hosting and infrastructure?
Yes. We design and run hosting on AWS or Azure, covering deployment pipelines and monitoring as well as backups and cost control. If you'd prefer your own team to run it, we'll hand it over with documentation.
Will the application be accessible and GDPR compliant?
Every build meets WCAG 2.2 AA as standard. On the UK GDPR side we handle data minimisation and retention, and we give users a way to export or delete their data, with audit logging and access controls built in. For public-sector work we can produce an accessibility statement with the evidence to support it.
