Azure security and compliance review

Our Azure security and compliance review compares your current security posture and governance controls with industry benchmarks, then sets out the gaps in order of priority so you know what to tackle first.

Azure Secure Score and Defender for Cloud

We look at your Secure Score and at Defender for Cloud coverage in every subscription. That means checking which Defender plans are switched on, finding recommendations that have been ignored and picking out quick wins that raise your score for little effort.

CIS and NIST benchmark compliance

Your environment is measured against the CIS Microsoft Azure Foundations Benchmark and the relevant NIST 800-53 controls. Every finding in the report is mapped to its control and given a severity rating and a remediation step, so you can see where you meet each standard and where you don't.

Azure Policy and governance

We evaluate your Azure Policy assignments, initiative definitions and compliance state to see which guardrails are missing. Typical gaps are policies that block public IP assignment, enforce NSG attachment or require encryption at rest, all of which stop insecure configurations before they reach production.

Logging, monitoring and alerting

We review diagnostic logging across your resources, Activity Log retention and export settings, and the design of your Log Analytics workspaces. Any security-relevant events that aren't being captured are noted, and we check that alert rules and action groups will notify the right people when something goes wrong.

Incident response and alert configuration

This part follows an alert from the signal that raises it through to notification and escalation, covering action groups, alert processing rules and any link to a SIEM or ticketing system. We want critical security events to reach someone who can act on them quickly.
