Azure cost optimisation

Azure bills climb fast when resources are oversized or nobody is keeping an eye on them. Our Azure cost optimisation review shows where you're paying more than you need to and how much you could save.

Right-sizing and idle resources

We analyse utilisation data for your VMs and other resources to find the ones provisioned beyond what their workload needs. The review also picks up resources that cost money while doing nothing useful, including deallocated VMs still paying for disks, App Service Plans with nothing on them and databases that are empty or barely used.

Reserved instances and savings plans

Workloads that run at a steady, predictable level cost noticeably less on a commitment than on pay-as-you-go pricing. We use each resource's usage history to decide which ones qualify and work out how much you'd save by switching.

Storage tiering and lifecycle policies

Going through your storage accounts, we see how often data is accessed and what could move to the cool or archive tiers. Lifecycle management policies can then tier and delete stale data automatically, and we check whether yours are set up to do that so nobody has to do it by hand.

Overall spend efficiency

Starting from your Azure Advisor cost recommendations, we look for patterns of waste across the estate and give you a prioritised list of changes. Every recommendation comes with an estimated monthly saving, which makes it easier to decide where to act first.
